The question is what NURSING EXPIRIENCE is good for US hospital?

Time (hours) minimal criteria:

Average time of our program till arrival to US is 18 months, but can range from 6 month till 24 months, during which time it will be essential to maintain uninterrupted experience;

To get job in a US hospital the nurse needs at least 1 year of 30-hours a week uninterrupted experience prior to departure to the USA in the nurse experience fields specified below;

Volunteer positions do qualify for experience. In other words, these do not have to be paid experience positions.

Hospital setting:

100-bed hospital is a minimum (not pediatric, psychiatric, maternal, neurology, or oncology hospitals.)

Nurse experience fields specified:

1) Medical, (except oncology* and neurology);

2) Surgical, (except oncology*, neurology);

3) Emergency room, (except oncology* and neurology);

4) Intensive care unit, (except oncology* and neurology);

5) No pediatrics, (except neonatal and pediatric ICU for nurses with not less then 5 years experience);

6) No obstetrics or any area of nursing as subspecialty of maternity nursing;

7) No eye related nursing;

8) No psychiatry related nursing.
